Greetings family & friends - here's a postcard from the Elvidges - we have escaped for a couple of weeks over easter in (sunny) Grand Bornand in the French Alpes. |

| Hannah was supposed to be on her school field trip to Mali & the Niger river - but two days before she was to go it was cancelled due to increased terrorist activity....She spent a lot of her days preparing for her AS exams in May. The Bayart family came to stay for the Easter weekend and we had fun as usual with everyone. |

Highlights of our week had to be waking up (nearly) every morning to clear blue skies and everyone enjoying the skiing - Everyone doing very well - especially Sophie as it was here she broke her wrist last year. The 'fôret suspendu' was open for Easter so we had fun on the death slides & tree obstacles and had fun ice skating one evening. The weather topped it all making it a great time. |
