Holiday Postcard - Summer 2009

We started in Paris - visted the Eifel Tower, Arch de Triomphe and Sacre Coeur. Then we had a couple of days in Disneyland trying out all the rides and meeting the characters. |

| The winner of the scariest ride (see Sophie, Ed and Hannah above)was the Tower of Terror. Other favourites were Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, Space Mountain, Indiana Jones and Big Thunder Mountain. We also loved the stunt show with some brilliant car and bike action. We had a fantastic time and decided that none of us are too old for Disneyland (yet!). |

We spent a week in Montaimont and one in Valloire (both nr Chambery) for some mountain based activities. Paul finally had the chance to do several via ferratas (fixed rope climbs). Ed isn't tall enough to do everything yet but H, M and S were very happy to. The area is very pretty and "non-touristy" and the weather was hot and sunny (with some thunder storms). Also did some Forets suspendus (tree top adventures) and some walking. |
